Found the blog because I went looking for it. Got to have a blog. :)

Order for the 1st put together as follows:
    Japan Sencha Green Tea (2lb)
    Sechung Oolong Tea (2lb
    GREEN Colombian Supremo Beans (5lb)
GREEN Organic Fair Trade Mexican H/G Chiapas (5lb)

So, if I win, surprise me. Nothing expensive. I can’t afford to get hooked on something overly rich.

May Canadians enter? I’d most like to try the Pu-erh Tea (Organic).

  3. Tracy says:

Found your blog just toodling around looking for my next shipment’s contents.
Not to be a potential expensive date or anything, but I’ve always wanted to try Jamaican Blue Mountain–I have to know what the big deal is, and why it’s so gosh-awful expensive. I would even settle for 1/4 pound just to try it. Thanks for the opportunity!

  4. madeline says:

The carmel royale regular coffee & strawberry white tea sound good I found out about the blog from a co-worker

  5. Tom Walker says:

I receive the Coffee Bean Direct email updates and that is how I found out about your blog.
I’ve been buying off your website since April 2006. I think I’d like to try the Smoke Coffee, it sounds good but haven’t gotten the nerve to order it because I try to buy at least 5lb bags when I order.
Have you ever thought of having a compare button so you could select several blends of coffee and determine which one might suit you better? I have to keep going back to the different coffees and try to remember what their roast, body, acidity, etc are at a glance. Maybe you could even have that popup when you highlight the coffee product on the product page. Just a suggestion, I really like all the coffee I’ve ordered in the past!

  6. Monte Bruesewitz says:

Found the blog through Facebook, but have been buying from you for almost two years now (maybe longer).

Next on my list to try is Sumatra.

  7. Dave says:

Found your site a few years ago and have been trying/buying different coffees since then. Also have hooked a few friends on your site!

Coffee I would most like to try? As long as I’m wishing I’d like to try the Hawaiian Kona Fancy.

  8. Rebecca says:

I found the website when searching for good beans for making lattes since Vernal, Utah is not a hotbed of quality coffee shops.

I would love to try the Hawaiian Kona Fancy because the description makes it sound so good yet it is so out of my price range.

  9. Juan says:

I found the blog when I found you listed on Facebook. I’ve been buying coffee from you for a little while now and have been trying a different coffee each time.

I would like to try the Eyes Wide Open Blend.

  10. Andy says:

I found your website maybe a couple years ago before the Xmas season. So I purchased a Burlap sack of the Jamaican Me Crazy. Since then, I have purchased coffee here for My wedding favors and just because I ran out. I Love the selection and the prices.
Tonight, I signed in to order another batch of coffee for me and my family and saw the blog and clicked on it.
I think the coffee I’d like to try the most is the Jamaican Blue Mountain. I can’t bring myself to buy it yet.
Mr. Walker’s “Compare” idea would be great to see the different blend/flavor/roasts’ characteristics.

    Thanks

  11. Will says:

My brother hooked me on your products when he gave out 1/2 pound bags of Jamaican me crazy for his wedding reception favors.

I would really like to try the Kona Fancy because I haven’t had kona since I went to HI 10 years ago but I would also like to try Jamaican Blue Mountain because I have never tried it and I hear good things. I am divided on the subject.
Keep doing what you do and thanks.

I first found coffee bean direct website when I was courous enough to find out who made those beans I purchased through Amazon. My first purchase was in January of 2007 for the dark house blend. That particular batch was not the best but I continued to purchase CBD coffee so I guess it grew on me. Since than, I believe you roast the coffee more often producing fresher coffee. Also the new roaster should reduce the possibility of over roasting. As a note, the single most helpful thing on your website is the small graphic that provides a reference for roast, body and acidity at a glance. You should add those images to the amazon web site. If I think I like the idea of low acidity and heavy body, the image shows what other coffees offer that.

Anyway, after visiting your web site and reading about the different blends, I decided to order direct. I would rather deal with the people who made this wonderful stuff: simplify life for all.

You make some really good beans. The price has always been more than fair.

Normally we purchase the dark blends. We like the more complex flavor a dark blend produces. Earthy. I think we have tried every single dark coffee you offer.

I found the blog shortly after it started up. Some time about the smoked coffee.

And the coffee I would like to try if I win this contest is Kona. The last time I had Kona Fancy (or Jamaican Blue Mountain) I had graduated from my boot camp at the top and Kona was served at the Admiral reception in ’87. The wife has never tried real Kona.

  13. Jeff says:

I found the Blog through the CBD Newsletter.
I would like to try Dark Celebes Kalossi. I’ve tried most everything else.

  14. Elena says:

The coffee I would like to try is the Jamacian Blue Mountain. I have tried it before, but it was before I was a real coffee drinker.

Another coffee that I would like to try is the Dark Organic Colombian Mesa De Los Santos. My mother is Colombian, and she has always been partial to Colombian coffee.

Finally the last type of coffee I would like to try is the Organic Dark Peru.

I have been ordering coffee from the Coffee Bean Direct site for about a year and a half, I found the blog through the site, and I am a sucker for a giveaway.
