Coffee-Coke Float
August 13th, 2009Good Morning All!
Last night I made one of my favorite coffee recipes to date! It was fast, there was not baking required and it was delicious!!! I’m talking about the coffee-coke float. Here is how I made it…
(I would like to apologize upfront about the ghetto quality of these pictures… I was in a rush to get this done because it contains a lot of caffeine and I didn’t want to be bouncing off the walls too late at night!)

2/3 cup half and half (light) cream
2 1/2 cups CBD Italian Roast Espresso, or strong coffee, cold
4 scoops coffee ice cream
1 -2 liter bottle of Coke
1/2 cup Kahlua if desired (I desired it but didn’t have any. So, I used a mini bottle of Bailey’s that I had left over from my trip to Ireland!)
4 frosted glasses
(This recipe makes 4 floats, but I only made 2)

Mix the cream and the cold coffee!

Add 2 tbs Kahlua to each glass… or in my case the Bailey’s.

The recipe calls for one scoop of ice cream per glass… what?! More like three!

Half fill each glass with the coffee then fill up the rest of the way with Coke.

Here is my lovely assistant Kevin taking the first sip… is it any good?

Looks like he likes it…

We have a winner!
