Coffee Bean Direct is proud to offer a new bean unlike anything else: Smoked Coffee! This coffee contains no liquid flavoring- it is 100% flavored in an actual smokehouse.
We have spent many months developing this special bean. After countless test batches, we have finally found the perfect blend and roast to be used for smoking. It took us even longer to discover the best smoke method, time, and wood type to use with this bean.
Once we roast this custom blend, the coffee is taken to a local (and nationally regarded) smokehouse to have the beans slow-smoked. We bag and ship the finished smoked beans from our roasting facility.
The resulting coffee is pretty much unlike any we have ever tasted, or produced. The smoky flavor is subtle from the first sip, and comes out in a big way in the aftertaste. It is smooth enough to be taken black, but strong enough for milk and sugar.
